💥 Head of Community & Partnerships (USA) 💥 £80k - £100k DOE + Bonus 💥 Leeds - Remote

ThePlaceToBe are excited to be partnering with an exciting premium consumer brand to help them appoint a Head of Community & Partnerships. This is a rare opportunity to build and lead an entirely new growth channel within a fast-scaling D2C business that's built an incredibly loyal customer base.

This is the perfect role for somebody who loves creating communities, building meaningful partnerships and developing authentic customer advocacy programmes that drive long-term commercial growth.

About the role...

This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for creating and growing a brand-new community and partnerships function. You'll own the strategy, implementation and ongoing development of ambassador, affiliate and creator programmes, helping drive customer acquisition, retention and long-term loyalty. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in shaping one of the business's biggest future growth channels.

What you'll be doing day to day...

  • Build and launch a community, ambassador and partnerships strategy from the ground up
  • Recruit, manage and grow a network of creators, ambassadors and brand advocates
  • Develop referral, loyalty and partnership initiatives that drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Work closely with Ecommerce, Brand and Marketing teams to deliver commercially successful campaigns
  • Monitor performance, optimise growth and help build the function as it scales

About you...

You'll love building things from scratch and be equally comfortable thinking strategically as you are getting involved in the day-to-day delivery. You could currently be working within Community, Partnerships, Influencer Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, CRM, Loyalty or Customer Growth, but you'll have experience creating programmes that strengthen customer engagement and deliver measurable commercial results.

What we're looking for...

  • 5+ years' experience across Community, Partnerships, Affiliate, Creator or Growth Marketing
  • Experience building or scaling ambassador, creator or referral programmes
  • Strong commercial understanding of ecommerce, customer acquisition and retention
  • Experience working within premium D2C consumer brands (beauty, wellness or lifestyle preferred)
  • A commercially minded leader with experience managing creators, partnerships and driving growth initiatives
