Head of Compliance (Part-Time)
The boutique private equity firm is currently supporting its private equity fund in appointing a part-time Head of Compliance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on opportunity working closely with the CFO and wider leadership team to ensure compliance with UK regulatories, particularly the FCA.
The role requires an experienced compliance professional with:
- Strong FCA regulatory experience
- A deep understanding of UK compliance frameworks
- Proven track record in implementing regulatory change
- Excellent communication skills for managing regulatory engagement

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day compliance programme and ensure its effective execution across the business
- Oversee the development, updating and reviewing of policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements
- Actively monitor regulatory developments and guide the firm through change
- Collaborate with the CFO and leadership team to embed compliance embedded within all business operations
- Work within a lean, fast-paced environment, taking full ownership of compliance governance

Requirements
- Experience as a Head of Compliance or equivalent with a focus on private equity and FCA regulatory matters
- Proven ability to drive regulatory change and compliance frameworks in complex financial environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at senior leadership levels
The role is ideal for someone who is comfortable taking ownership across a full suite of compliance functions in a smaller, but high-impact setting.
