Head of Compliance – UK General Insurance / Insurtech
I’m hiring for a Head of Compliance to join a fast-growing digital insurance business operating in the automotive / mobility space.
This is a senior role with real influence. You’ll be responsible for shaping the UK compliance strategy, leading the regulatory framework, and acting as the key compliance voice for the Board, senior leadership, regulators, insurers, and distribution partners.
The role will include:
- Holding responsibility for compliance oversight, including SMF16
- Owning the Compliance Monitoring Plan and wider regulatory framework
- Managing the relationship with the FCA and other regulatory bodies
- Leading Consumer Duty, PROD, TCF, and product governance activity
- Overseeing financial promotions, customer communications, and conduct risk
- Supporting Board reporting, regulatory updates, and risk insight
- Managing third-party / distributor oversight, including ARs where relevant
- Making sure compliance is practical, commercial, and properly embedded across the business

This would suit someone with strong senior compliance experience in UK General Insurance, ideally from an insurer, MGA, broker, insurtech, or embedded insurance environment.
