An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Computer Science Teacher to lead a growing department in a well-regarded secondary school in Westminster, Central London.
This is a fantastic role for an established teacher or current middle leader looking to step into a Head of Computer Science position, or an experienced Head of Computer Science seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and well-supported school environment in Westminster.

The Role
As Head of Computer Science, you will lead the department and drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the Computer Science department
- Developing and implementing an engaging and ambitious curriculum
- Raising attainment and progress across Key Stages 3-5
- Supporting and developing teaching staff within the department
- Monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
- Promoting digital literacy and computing across the wider school
What we're looking for
- A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
- Proven experience teaching at secondary level
- Experience in a leadership role or readiness to step into a Head of Computer Science position
- A track record of strong student outcomes
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- A passion for inspiring the next generation in computing and technology
