An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Computer Science Teacher to lead a growing department in a well-regarded secondary school in Westminster, Central London.

The Role

As Head of Computer Science, you will lead the department and drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the Computer Science department
  • Developing and implementing an engaging and ambitious curriculum
  • Raising attainment and progress across Key Stages 3-5
  • Supporting and developing teaching staff within the department
  • Monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
  • Promoting digital literacy and computing across the wider school

What we're looking for

  • A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
  • Proven experience teaching at secondary level
  • Experience in a leadership role or readiness to step into a Head of Computer Science position
  • A track record of strong student outcomes
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • A passion for inspiring the next generation in computing and technology
