About The Role

We're looking for a Head of Content - English speaking markets to lead and scale content strategy for our English-language markets (UK, USA, and Canada) across a portfolio of brands and white-label sites (sports betting and online casino).Reporting to the Business Manager, you will define and execute content strategies that drive organic growth, engagement, and monetization while maintaining high editorial and SEO standards.

This role combines strategic leadership, business alignment, and team development. You will manage multidisciplinary content teams and work closely with SEO, Product, and Business stakeholders to ensure content supports both user experience and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Content Direction
    • Define and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with company goals and monetization priorities.
    • Translate market insights, SEO data, and audience behavior into actionable content roadmaps.
    • Ensure the strategy effectively covers key sports betting and online casino operators, products, and trends to strengthen market presence.
    • Oversee editorial high-quality and E-E-A-T standards across all brands in the UK, USA, and Canada.
    • Continuously monitor performance and adjust priorities based on ROI and data-driven insights.

  • Team Management & Development

    • Recruit, train, and manage a multi-level content team (Managers, Writers, Editors).
    • Establish clear roles, KPIs, and development plans for each team member.
    • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and provide continuous feedback and mentoring.
    • Promote collaboration and innovation, building a culture of accountability and ownership.
  • Content Planning, Validation & Optimization

    • Ensure resource allocation matches business priorities across the UK, USA, and Canada markets and assets.
    • Review and validate content plans proposed by Content Managers to ensure strategic alignment.
    • Supervise top-page strategies, ensuring regular updates, optimization, and tracking of business keywords.
    • Support the creation of content briefs, ensuring consistency with SEO and business objectives.
    • Work closely with SEO teams to maintain keyword coverage and optimize internal linking.
    • Conduct periodic audits of site performance and content effectiveness.
  • Market Intelligence & Business Integration

    • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and consumer behavior to identify content opportunities.
    • Collaborate with Business and Sales teams to ensure content priorities align with market needs and operator visibility.
    • Ensure all published content adheres to regional betting and gambling regulations and brand guidelines across the UK, USA, and Canada.
    • Provide actionable insights to leadership based on performance and competitive analysis.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience leading content strategy and content operations at scale (especially in UK, USA, and/or CA).
  • Strong background in digital publishing, content management, or sports betting and online casino content ecosystems.
  • Proven experience managing and developing content teams.
  • Strong understanding of: SEO fundamentals, Editorial strategy, E-E-A-T principles, content monetization and performance.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing traffic, engagement, and conversion performance.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, international, and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business understanding with the ability to connect content strategy to commercial goals.
  • Native or near-native English, with strong knowledge of the UK, US, and/or Canadian markets.
