Head of Core Services (Temporary)
Advice Manager – Seasonal Coverage Role
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated advice manager to cover a temporary four-month absence for our Head of Core Service.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to support a range of projects and services funded by partnerships, including Wandsworth Borough Council. Your responsibilities will span leadership, operations, and strategic delivery across one of London’s key advice-focused charities.
Responsibilities
Core Leadership
- Ensure our organisation aligns with our values, standards, and ambitions, including fostering a more inclusive workplace where staff feel supported.
- Lead by example in upholding organisational excellence and acting as a manager and leader for our team of frontline staff.
- Oversee daily service delivery while maintaining the high visibility of our Core Service to residents and partners.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage contracts, relationships, and reporting with funders, partners, and statutory organisations, including:
- Senior council officers
- Local councillors
- MPs
- Nurture long-term partnerships while fostering collaboration with statutory services and the local voluntary sector.
