Job Title: Head of Corporate Development
Our client is a private equity-backed B2B business seeking an experienced Head of Corporate Development to lead strategic transactions during a period of significant growth and transformation. This role is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) to cover a period of leave.
About the Role
This is a high-impact role with responsibility for end-to-end buy-side and sell-side M&A activity, from opportunity identification and evaluation through execution, integration, separation planning, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will also play a key role in debt raising, refinancing, and broader financing initiatives, working closely with senior leadership, investors, and external advisers.

Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Proven end-to-end buy-side and sell-side corporate development experience
- Strong background in M&A execution, transaction management, and strategic evaluation
- Experience leading debt raising, refinancing, and financing processes
- Ability to operate effectively with executive teams, investors, lenders, and advisers
- Previous PE portfolio company experience is highly desirable

Please note: Candidates without demonstrable end-to-end transaction experience across both buy-side and sell-side mandates, ideally gained within a leading advisory environment and/or corporate development function, will not be considered.
