Role Summary:
This role will be responsible for defining and implementing comprehensive reporting requirements to support informed decision-making at the Executive Level and across various functions. This role involves developing and managing a robust framework for corporate reporting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with EWR Co's governance framework, while working closely with departments to gather, interpret, and present financial and operational data.
Function:
The Corporate Services function is accountable for providing core enabling capability to the other functional areas in EWR Co. to maximise performance of the organisation, that includes financial management, IT and HR services. It is accountable for providing reporting services to enable decision making and assuring that quality systems and processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate reporting framework that aligns with EWR Co's governance and strategic objectives.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all corporate reports, including financial and operational data.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and interpret data, transforming it into insightful management information (MI) for decision making.
- Create and manage reporting templates and guidelines to standardize reporting processes across the organization.
- Present key findings and reports to the Executive Team, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the reporting framework, making adjustments as necessary to improve quality and relevance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and governance requirements in corporate reporting.
- Responsible for managing and supporting direct reports including: coaching and developing team members to drive individual growth and operational excellence. Leading continuous improvement, through regular performance management and ensuring compliance with organisation policies and updating relevant systems.
- Take responsibility of your own and others' health and safety by adopting and working to the EWR Co Health and Safety principles.
- Demonstrates a cost-conscious mindset, keeping taxpayers' money at the forefront of decisions.
- Shows a commitment to innovation by proactively seeking creative solutions to challenges and opportunities.
- Act as a role model for EWR Co's vision and behaviours, working in ways that are aligned with EWR Co's Ways of Working, as well as encouraging and supporting others to do so too.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Extensive experience in corporate reporting, financial analysis, or a related role within a large organization.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and implement reporting frameworks and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to senior leadership.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting tools, such as Excel, SAP, or BI software.
