About the Team
The Admin Services commercial team drives adoption and usage of essential products for Small Business Owners, including:
- Tide’s range of accounting packages
- Invoicing
- Expense management
- Payroll
- Company Formations/Company Secretariat services
Most of these are sold on a subscription basis, providing consistent value to members and recurring revenue for Tide. The team collaborates with Product, Finance, Business Insights, CRM, and Operations to translate member and commercial insights into:
- Product enhancements
- Effective positioning
- Strategies that enhance engagement and retention
About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Commercial Head to drive revenue growth from Admin Services in the UK. You will sit at the heart of Tide’s commercial function, collaborating across teams to understand performance, seize opportunities, and deliver consistent growth. This role demands a relentless focus on data-driven decision-making, product prioritisation, and detailed planning to meet revenue targets while maximising customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Leadership
- Own the strategy and implementation of admin services activation/usage to drive adoption of key products.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design, refine, and execute ‘always-on’ campaign frameworks for seamless member engagement.
- Lead product launches, ensuring end-to-end strategy, cross-channel alignment, and+best-performing member journeys.
- Stakeholder management across Tide – Senior Leadership, C-suite, and cross-functional teams require clear, regular communication.

2. Commercial & Analytics Conclusion
- Partner with Finance to set, track, and refine revenue forecasts for Admin Services, ensuring accountability and risk mitigation.
- Lead audience segmentation, subscription cohort performance analysis, and member behaviour insights in collaboration with Business Intelligence teams.
- Translate data-driven insights into actionable plans for product prioritisation, pricing, positioning, and marketing strategies.
3. Product Development & GTM
- Partner with Product teams to refine product roadmaps, differentiate value propositions, and shape GTM strategies for launches.
- Own new product launches, ensuring experiments deliver best-in-class performance and scaling wins across channels.
- Drive ideation workshops, brainstorming creative solutions to optimise member engagement.
4. Market Intelligence & Go-To-Market
- Conduct ongoing competitor benchmarking to stay ahead of trends and.shape Tide’s strategic positioning and differentiation.
- Monitor member motivations to inform commercial and product design.
What We Are Looking For
We seek a specific, bold leader with:
- Strong commercial acumen: 7+ years of driving revenue in subscription-based products; experience in Admin Services, especially accounting/finance-products, is highly valuable. Must have:
- Proven ability to set KPIs, refine goals, and maximise commercial impact.
- Operational excellence: Hands-on launch accountability for 1–3 subscription-led admin services, ensuring ownership and performance delivery.
- Deep analytical perspective: Turn granular data into actionable plans, mapping product features to member needs.
- Success in omni-channel GTM: Experience crafting holistic campaigns, including:
- In-app UX
- CRM outreach
- Sales-supported activation
- Collaborative leadership: Build bridges across teams; bring clearly-framed briefs to Product, Marketing, and Ops stakeholders.
- Self-driven agility: Prioritise smartly, adapt quickly, and lead without hand-holding. Coach small direct reports while showing strategic ownership.
- Ideation skills: Champion bold experiments in campaigns or product innovations.
