Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography, etc.).
- Experience presenting to and collaborating directly with executive business leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams of creatives (designers, writers, art directors) and sourcing high-quality freelancers.
- A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in (brand design, advertising campaigns, direct response and innovation).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working on external trends, and are likely to have served on creative awards steering groups or judging panels.
- Proven ability and versatility to work with a lot of or minimal information and to work with speed and to experience working with complex brands and clients.
- Prior track record of success in an agency or an in-house creative team at an organisation of significant scale, scope and complexity; proven ability to operate in a matrixed environment, with a tolerance for ambiguity
- Proven track record of managing and running a creative studio, including resourcing, operations, and budget management.
About the job
As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.

Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a varied group of creatives and producers to deliver effective, award-winning work on brief, time, and budget.
- Build the strategic creative goal for YouTube EMEA, driving AI innovation and adoption to push storytelling boundaries and optimize studio workflows.
- Scale a multidisciplinary in-house studio, nurturing an high-performing team with creative confidence and technological conviction.
- Forge deep relationships with regional leadership, executive stakeholders, and agency/production partners to ensure resource success and strategic alignment.
- Serve as the ultimate creative leader and brand spokesperson across core users, creators, artists, and key opinion formers.
