The Role

As a Head of Credit Risk Strategy, you will lead the delivery of complex credit risk projects while contributing to business development and team leadership. You will oversee multiple engagements and ensure high-quality outcomes for clients.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Defining and implementing credit and pricing strategies aligned to commercial objectives
  • Leading end-to-end initiatives across credit, pricing, and performance optimisation
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, risk, and commercial teams to shape roadmap decisions
  • Developing and refining decisioning frameworks, including models, segmentation, and pricing approaches
  • Translating complex credit concepts into actionable insights for non-specialist stakeholders

Skills and Experience

The successful Head of Credit Risk Strategy will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of credit risk, pricing, and commercial modelling
  • Experience applying unit economics to lending or financial products
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
  • Proven capability working with product, risk, and commercial stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with ambiguity and new product development
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, and SAS
