I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a dashboard. They're looking for someone with the credibility and gravitas to become the senior Customer Success voice in the room when it matters most, leading strategic customer conversations, supporting complex accounts, and setting the standard for commercial Customer Success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching, and developing two Customer Success Managers.
- Owning the strategy, health, and performance of a scaled customer portfolio worth approximately £4-5M ARR.
- Delivering executive customer meetings, webinars, and strategic business reviews.
- Partnering closely with Account Management to maximise customer retention and renewal success.
- Using customer health, engagement, and product usage data to proactively identify risk and opportunity.
- Working alongside Customer Marketing, Digital CS, and Data & Analytics to continually improve the scaled customer journey.
- Acting as the senior escalation point for complex customer situations, leading by example through your own customer interactions.
