Job Title: Head of Business Continuity and Cyber Resilience
Type: Contract
Location: London / Glasgow / Cardiff (1 office day-hybrid working)
Vetting: SC security clearance will be required
The Head of Business Continuity and Cyber Resilience will lead and coordinate the client’s resilience function and capability across the full Business Continuity Management Lifecycle and Cyber Incident Lifecycle. You will ensure critical regulatory services can continue during disruptive events, embedding resilient practices across the client and wider business teams, and providing senior leadership across resilience governance, risk insight, readiness programmes, and cross-business coordination.

Essential Skills
Business Continuity & Cyber Resilience
- Demonstrable experience delivering business continuity, resilience, or cyber incident management at a senior level (LEAD)
- Deep understanding of BCM lifecycles and cyber incident frameworks, including CAF, DSHC, ISO22301, and ISO27031
- Experience leading exercise programmes at bronze, silver, and gold command levels
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading organizational resilience planning (LEAD)
- Proven ability to lead and develop specialist teams, driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Experience providing strategic guidance and expert assurance to executive-level audiences

Risk & Threat Management
- Experience in cyber security and risk management with a resilience focus
- Ability to identify, interpret, and leverage threat intelligence sources to inform decision-making
- Experience developing complex risk management plans aligned to corporate governance processes
Qualifications (Essential)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- AMBCI, MBCI, or DBCI (BCI membership at associate level or above)
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in regulated or government environments
- Experience delivering organizational training and awareness programmes
- Familiarity with NCSC frameworks and cross-government resilience communities of practice
