Head of Cycle

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cycling Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cycling Leader to shape and elevate a premium indoor cycling programme across a luxury fitness business. Combining exceptional coaching with leadership, education, and programme innovation, this role will drive best-in-class experiences for both members and instructors. The successful candidate will not be limited to only teaching Cycle classes and they will have the opportunity to support with private PT, S&C and other classes across the timetable.

The Company:

Our client is a premium health and wellness business renowned for delivering world-class fitness experiences, outstanding service, and an inspiring environment for both members and employees. With a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and continuous development, the business continues to set new standards in the luxury fitness sector.

The Basics:

  • Salary: 25,000 SR per month (equivalent to ~4,500 GPB)
  • Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (with some travel to Riyadh)
  • Hours: Full-time (20 coaching hours per week across mat and reformer + admin/leadership responsibilities)
  • Relocation package: Month 1 accommodation, flights, and visa covered

This is a unique opportunity to relocate to Saudi Arabia and take ownership of a market-leading cycling programme within a premium health and wellness brand. The successful candidate will lead concept development, inspire and develop instructors, enhance member engagement, and help define the future of indoor cycling across the business.

The Role:

Leadership & Education:

  • Lead and develop the indoor cycling programme, ensuring exceptional coaching standards across all locations.
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire instructors, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver regular education, workshops, and internal training to maintain consistency, quality, and instructor development.
  • Support the ongoing development of coaching standards, teaching methodology, and quality assurance processes.

Programming + Member Experience:

  • Design and evolve innovative indoor cycling concepts aligned with business strategy and industry trends.
  • Develop engaging class experiences through effective programming, music selection, and performance-based coaching.
  • Analyse attendance, member feedback, and performance data to continually optimise the cycling offering.
  • Plan and deliver high-energy indoor cycling events that enhance member engagement and community.

Commercial + Strategic Development:

  • Support the wider Group Exercise strategy through the development of best-in-class cycling concepts.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on facility upgrades, technology integration, and future programme development.
  • Ensure instructor utilisation, class schedules, and programme delivery are aligned with business objectives and member demand.
  • Champion innovation by introducing new training techniques, technology, and cycling software where appropriate.

Operations:

  • Deliver a combination of group cycling classes, one-to-one coaching, instructor training, and quality assurance activities.
  • Build strong relationships with members, providing outstanding service and personalised support.
  • Monitor instructor performance, class participation, and member satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all sessions are delivered safely and in line with company standards and industry best practice.

The Person:

  • Certified Group Exercise Instructor (ACE, NASM, AFAA or equivalent) with a Level 3 Personal Training qualification.
  • Minimum of six years' experience as a Master Trainer, Group Exercise Lead, or Senior Coach.
  • Previous experience within a luxury health club or private members' club environment.
  • Proven experience in instructor education, curriculum development, and quality assurance.
  • Exceptional indoor cycling coaching, presentation, and programming skills.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to develop programmes that drive participation and member retention.
  • Passionate about creating inspiring fitness experiences and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and confident working within a multicultural environment.
  • Experience with fitness technology, booking systems, and cycling platforms such as Spivi is advantageous.
  • CPR and First Aid qualified.
  • Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
