About the role
The Head of Data will lead the firm's data transformation programme, enhancing the operating model, architecture, and governance necessary for scalable and secure data capabilities across the organisation.
As a senior leader, the Head of Data drives the UK data strategy for Forvis Mazars, shaping data management, identifying opportunities for data-driven value, and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable outcomes across service lines. The role champions data governance, analytics, and intelligence-led decision-making to enhance experiences for clients and team members, maintaining and developing a strong data culture aligned with firmwide objectives.

The Head of Data will work with senior UK firm leaders and global IT & transformation colleagues to deliver measurable outcomes aligned to enterprise platforms, security standards, and architectural principles.
What we are looking for
- A passion for data and analytics, evidenced by experience, projects, and examples of implementing measurable change.
- Experience with a strong data background exemplifying understanding of Data Architecture, Integration platforms, cloud data platforms, data governance, and metadata management.
- A strong knowledge and interest in Data Science and AI-based practices with good technical competence in using AI.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence operating models and culture through data.
- Experience leading enterprise data transformation programmes.
- Experience working with IT and enterprise architecture teams.
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks.
- Experience building data teams or Data Hub capabilities.
- An understanding of accountancy & advisory in a professional services organisation would be highly beneficial as well as experience working in regulated environments.
