Head of Data & Analytics
Location: Primarily remote – once a month in their London office
Salary: £70,000 plus benefits

iO Associates are collaborating with a pro-choice global charity, active across 36 countries and 6 continents, offering reproductive healthcare (including abortion and contraception) to over 93,000 women and girls daily.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek an ambitious and visionary leader to spearhead their Data & Analytics division, building a high-performing team while driving strategic growth and technical excellence. This is a hands-off, senior leadership role—locking empowered collaboration, strategic direction, and a culture of business-aligned data-centricity.
YOU WILL:
- Lead a team of 6, including 2 team leads (focused on Analytics and Automation)
- Set direction, champion technical prowess, and foster innovation in a regulated yet ambitious environment
- Have a strong technical foundation, with AI/ML exposure or deeper modern data tech understanding acting as a plus

KEY CONSIDERATIONS FOR THIS ROLE This is a world-changing opportunity at a fast-growing charity, with data as a critical success driver.
What We're Looking For
- Data Leadership: Senior experience (enterprise level) in data strategy, governance, and analytics delivery
- Executive Influence: Proven ability to inform strategic decision-making with data-backed insights
- Governance & Ownership: Hands-on experience setting up data stewardship models, leadership, and quality frameworks
- Cloud & Modern Tech: Practical knowledge of data architecture, platforms—including Microsoft Fabric/Synapse, Power BI—and integration
- Operational Resilience: Define and deliver scalable, self-service data models with modern data literacy approaches
- Advanced Analytics: Extensive experience leading adoption of AI, automation, and clinical/regulated data environments
- Regulated Environments: Bonus if you’ve worked in NHS, healthcare reporting, and information governance
