Head of Data & Analytics

Head of Data & Analytics | £200K + Equity | London

Albert Bow is partnering with one of the UK’s fastest-growing AI companies, building next-generation systems that replace complex enterprise workflows with automated, LLM-powered execution.

Following significant investment and rapid commercial growth, they are scaling their leadership team and now looking to appoint a Head of Data & Analytics. This is a rare opportunity to own the entire data function at a business where data sits at the heart of every product decision, commercial strategy, and AI capability.

About the Role

If you’re excited by building from first principles, solving hard technical problems, and helping shape the future of an ambitious AI business, this is a role with genuine impact.

You’ll own the entire data stack end-to-end while growing the existing data functions across the business. This means responsibility for:

  • Ingestion
  • Modelling
  • Metrics
  • Analytics
  • Prediction
  • Activation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll design how the company understands its own usage, customers, revenue, and product behaviour. You’ll also ensure the system is fast, clean, and reliable enough that founders and teams can trust it in real time.

This is a highly hands-on role, especially early on. It’s not about managing a team of specialists—it’s about building the system, then scaling it.

You’ll work directly with founders and engineering, shaping:

  • Product direction
  • Pricing strategies
  • Growth loops
  • Operational decision-making

Requirements

Mandatory

  • 6–10+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or applied data science
  • Built production-grade data systems in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Expert-level Python and SQL
  • Strong grounding in:
    • Statistical modelling
    • Forecasting
    • Risk / behavioural modelling
  • Proven experience owning:
    • Production data systems
    • Decision-making pipelines
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Strong intuition for data modelling (you know what good looks like)
  • Experience building BI layers
  • Strong written and verbal communication (clarity is critical)
