Head of Data & Insights
Build a Data & Insights Practice from the Ground Up
We're partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed technology consultancy that's investing heavily in its next phase of growth.
Having successfully scaled through acquisition and organic growth, the business is now looking to establish a dedicated Data & Insights Practice that will become a major revenue driver and strategic capability.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit an established team and simply maintain it.
This is an opportunity to build something with genuine backing from the executive team.
You'll define the strategy, create the propositions, shape the delivery model and become the commercial leader for Data & Insights across the organisation.
If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence direction, build a practice and create lasting commercial impact, this is it.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you'll own the growth and success of the Data & Insights Practice.
You'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical capability, working closely with customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders to develop commercially successful data services.
The focus is on building repeatable, scalable offerings rather than delivering one-off consultancy engagements.
You'll also be responsible for embedding a data-driven culture internally, ensuring trusted insight underpins decision-making across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
