Job Title

Are you looking for a strategic data leadership role where you will help to shape an organisation's approach to data governance, tooling, and AI?

This London based Housing Association is hiring for a Head of Data to take ownership of how data is understood, trusted, and used.

About the Role

In this newly created position, you’ll have the autonomy to craft your own team and deliver your own vision for data governance and data tooling. You will build a larger data function and will shape how governance, architecture, and AI come together. Data Governance frameworks have been established, and reporting processes exist, so this role is all about embedding and flag-bearing for data at executive level, while modernising the governance approach.

Alongside that, you'll help shape the organisation's enterprise data architecture. Working closely with the Data Architect in your team and with Enterprise Architects across the group, you'll define how data is structured across the platform, develop the organisation's catalogue and metadata capability, and ensure governance is embedded into the technical landscape rather than sitting alongside it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
