Informatics Team Leader – Data & Performance Analysis
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented informatics leader to contribute to the continued development of our Informatics service. This key role, within a dynamic and expanding team, is responsible for developing and enhancing the analysis service to meet the evolving needs of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust.
About the Role
The successful candidate will bring excellent technical and analytical skills, alongside expertise in utilising data and information to support clinical services. They will collaborate closely with both clinical and Informatics colleagues to shape a performant, evidence-led informatics function.
An ideal candidate will thrive in a role that allows them to:

- Play a crucial role in evolving the performance and analysis service within the Trust
Key Responsibilities

Leadership of informed systems:
- Management, development, and ongoing support of the Trust’s data warehouse
- Spearheading information management arrangements and serving as the subject matter expert in business intelligence (BI)

Technical & strategic oversight:
- Provide technical authority and leadership for the business intelligence function, ensuring alignment with digital change initiatives
- Drive information management training across departments and the wider Trust

- Design and implement informatics solutions to meet national, commissioning, and local reporting requirements
- Ensure alignment with the Trust’s comprehensive performance management framework

Operational excellence :
- Deliver a robust technical environment enabling the Trust and its partners to access assured and reliable information
- Facilitate service change, efficiency, and continuous improvement in patient care

Self-service data infrastructure:
- Oversee development of self-serve data reporting tools for colleagues to access:
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Capacity and demand activity metrics
- Data quality benchmarks

Regulatory compliance:
- Ensure all data management and reporting activities adhere to Information Governance, data protection, and NHS standards
