Head of Data Engineering – London (Hybrid) | Python, dbt, Airflow, AWS
We’re once again supporting a fast-growing PropTech business as they enter a pivotal phase, transforming how data drives decisions across the entire organisation. They’re looking for a Head of Data Engineering to take the lead.
This isn’t just another leadership title. It’s an opportunity to design, build, and own a data platform from the ground up, shaping the company’s data strategy as it scales.
You’ll step into a hands-on leadership role where you’ll:

- Architect and evolve a modern data platform
- Work closely with stakeholders to embed data into core business decisions
- Build scalable pipelines and infrastructure using a cutting-edge stack
- Lay the foundations for a future data team (with hiring on the horizon)
You must be comfortable working across:
- SQL & Python for data processing and transformation
- DBT, Airflow, and Looker for modelling, orchestration, and visualisation
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; GCP familiarity is a plus)
- Data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or similar

Salary: £110,000 – £125,000 + strong benefits
Location: Central London (hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Must be UK-based (no sponsorship available)
