Team Overview
The Group Advertising Technology (AdTech) function within Content Technology & Innovation (CT&I) develops and operates platforms delivering targeted advertisement across Linear and OTT environments. This role leads delivery across AdTech platforms, ensuring alignment to Sky Media and CT&I priorities while championing customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and long-term business value.
As a senior leader within the AdTech leadership team, you are accountable for maintaining and evolving the AdTech operating model, enhancing delivery capability across UK and CIEC teams, and ensuring successful execution of multi-year transformation programmes.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain and champion the end-to-end AdTech delivery roadmap and the strategy underpinning it, ensuring alignment to business priorities and long-term platform evolution.
- Enhance and evolve the AdTech operating model, strengthening product-led and value-stream aligned delivery across all domains.
- Champion organisational efficiency initiatives, including cost optimisation and global workforce strategy across UK and CIEC teams.
- Maintain and continuously improve the advertising operational value stream, ensuring alignment from demand through delivery and optimisation.
- Liaising with relevant finance teams, and owning financial reporting, planning and tracking for delivery in all budgeting cycles across the department.
- Champion outcome-led roadmaps and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring delivery is aligned to measurable business and customer value.
- Enhance delivery of complex cross-platform initiatives across AdTech ecosystems, ensuring alignment to customer and commercial outcomes.
- Promote customer experience as a core strategic pillar, ensuring delivery prioritisation is driven by measurable CX improvements.
- Maintain and enhance product, CX & delivery playbooks, governance frameworks, and standardised delivery practices across AdTech.
- Champion adoption of Agile, DevOps, and scaled delivery practices to drive continuous improvement and predictability.
- Lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams across Product, Delivery, Business Analysis, CX, and Strategy functions.
- Enhance AdTech organisational design aligned to domains, squads, and value streams to improve accountability and performance.
- Act as a senior advisor to stakeholders, shaping strategic delivery decisions, investment priorities, and delivery direction.
- Champion alignment between business, product, and technology teams to ensure cohesive delivery across the organisation.
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Ops to enhance scalable, data-driven and cloud-based platform capabilities.

What you'll bring:
- AdTech Delivery: Proven leadership in large-scale technology and business delivery environments, from within media, advertising, or AdTech
- Op Model Evolution: Strong experience in maintaining and enhancing operating models and delivery frameworks in digital or media organisations
- Transformation Initiatives: Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and efficiency initiatives across platforms or products, including advertising or AdTech where relevant, and driving strategic financial alignment
- Global Collaboration: Experience managing global, cross-functional teams across multiple locations in commercially-driven environments
- Stakeholder Presence: Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, particularly across commercial or media-focused organisations
- Agile Mindset: Deep knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and scaled delivery practices in fast-paced digital, media, or AdTech contexts
- Cloud & Data Analytics: Experience working with cloud-based platforms, data, and analytics-driven products, ideally within advertising, media, or similar domains
