What You'll Be Doing The Head of Delivery leads the successful delivery of programmes and projects within a business unit, ensuring they meet timelines, scope, quality standards, and organisational goals. The role drives business value, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides leadership to project management teams while partnering with senior stakeholders and promoting continuous improvement. Provide overall delivery leadership for a business unit, setting and executing strategies aligned to organisational objectives. Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex programmes and projects, ensuring performance against scope, timelines, and budgets. Establish and drive delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the change function. Lead, develop, and mentor delivery teams, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture. Build and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point. Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring proactive mitigation and effective decision-making. Oversee resource planning, capacity, and budget management to optimise delivery outcomes. Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and executional excellence across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For Proven experience in leading large-scale programme and project delivery in a complex environment. Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and developing high-performing teams. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Deep understanding of delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and best practices. Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and resources. Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
