Head of Commercial Property | 10+ PQE | Wiltshire | Competitive salary + performance bonus

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to step into a key leadership position within a successful and growing firm. We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Commercial Property to lead an established department and drive its next phase of strategic growth.

The Role

You will take full responsibility for the Commercial Property function, managing both the team and a varied caseload. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a commercial property team
  • Managing a high-quality caseload, including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and development work
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Driving business development initiatives and supporting wider firm growth
  • Playing a central role in shaping the future direction of the department

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Commercial Property
  • Proven leadership skills, or a senior lawyer ready to step into a leadership role
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record (or clear potential) in business development
  • A client following or established referrer network is advantageous but not essential
  • Ambitious and motivated, with a clear desire to progress to Partnership
