Head of Digital

£80,000 - £90,000 + bonus
London (2 days per week)

Our client

We’re supporting a digital healthcare consultancy through a period of high growth. After being acquired by the market leader in their industry, our client is poised to deliver on their ambitious expansion plans as their client base continues to grow.

AI is at the heart of their evolution. Within their field, they’re pioneering the integration of artificial intelligence across digital marketing to redefine how their clients grow, think, and connect with their audiences.

This agency crafts experiences across web, paid media, CRM, content and SEO, building growth programmes that align with client objectives. They aim to redefine growth in their industry, delivering lasting and impactful change whilst taking the stress of marketing away from their clients.

Their leadership sees that their people are the drivers of collaboration & innovation. Each employee is given a budget for training & development to help further their skills in digital whilst being supported in their long-term career progression.

The role

The Head of Digital will have an AI-first mindset, and the ability to demonstrate experience applying AI to digital strategy, marketing automation, creative workflows, and business innovation.

We’re looking for someone with experience translating business objectives into comprehensive strategies that deliver measurable growth, with the natural ability to lead teams and build data strategies.

Some of the things you’ll be involved in

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that align with client objectives and agency growth.
  • Own campaign performance and oversee strategic optimisations.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with clients, presenting insights and future strategy recommendations.
  • Oversee the digital marketing team and foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Function as senior advisor to key clients on digital marketing strategy and long-term growth.
  • Identify opportunities for growth both in terms of client relationships and service offering.
  • Lead the development of innovative campaign approaches and testing methodologies.
  • Stay up to date with platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging digital marketing tech.
  • Remain close to delivery to support strategy, optimisation and problem-solving where needed, without being purely executional.
  • Ensure all strategies are compliant with healthcare marketing regulations and best practices.

The ideal Head of Digital has:

  • Proven experience implementing or leading AI-driven marketing strategies, tools, or systems.
  • Experience in digital marketing management roles with experience working in a leadership capacity.
  • A track record of developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable growth for local businesses.
  • Deep experience across PPC, SEO, social media, email marketing, and CRO.
  • Knowledge of Local SEO.
  • Analytical skills, including strong experience using GA4.
