Head of Digital

Location: London | Hybrid (3 days per week) Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 DOE

A high-growth, technology-led business is seeking an experienced Head of Digital to spearhead its digital function during a transformative phase of growth.

This brand-new senior role exists alongside the Head of Marketing, reporting directly to the CEO. The business is placing substantial investment in digital infrastructure, websites, customer experience, and growth, offering a transformative opportunity to drive significant change across multiple brands.

We are seeking a commercially-minded digital leader who can seamlessly blend strategic vision with technical acumen and operational delivery.


The Opportunity

This role sits at the core of digital, ecommerce, product, SEO, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation), and analytics.

You will take ownership of all websites and digital properties, ensuring they deliver the highest user experience standards whilst driving measurable business growth.

The ideal candidate will oversee:

  • Website performance, including SEO and CRO
  • Data and analytics frameworks
  • Digital tooling and front-end delivery
  • Close collaboration with product, development, design, and marketing teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital strategy for a portfolio of websites and brands
  • Oversee website performance, UX, speed, accessibility, and conversion optimisation
  • Lead SEO, CRO, and digital growth campaigns
  • Build and refine analytics, reporting, and attribution frameworks
  • Lead digital product delivery and optimisation projects
  • Manage and develop the digital, SEO, and technical teams
  • Collaborate closely with design, development, and product teams
  • Evaluate and enhance digital tooling, platforms, and integrations
  • Translate data into actionable commercial insights
  • Contribute to business growth and digital transformation initiatives

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Significant experience heading up digital functions within:
    • Ecommerce
    • Digital-first
    • High-growth environments
  • Strong website ownership experience, with expertise in:
    • UX, CRO, performance optimisation
  • Deep understanding of SEO and organic growth strategies
  • Highly data-driven, with experience leveraging data and insights to inform strategy
  • Experience managing digital products, platforms, and technical stakeholders
  • A strong commercial mindset, with a proven track record of delivering measurable business impact
  • Ability to thrive at both strategic and operational levels
  • Leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative and adaptable approach
