Head of Digital Platforms
Head of Digital Platforms (Enterprise Web Platforms) Remote with occasional travel
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven leader to assume the strategic role of Head of Enterprise Web Platforms. Reporting to the Global Head of Development, this leader will guide agile teams in delivering impactful projects across Content & Marketing (C&M) and Online Booking (OLB) platforms.
Combining a strategic mindset with technical expertise and leadership prowess, this individual will drive innovation, value, and excellence in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and inspire high-performing, cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and quality delivery.
- Utilise data insights to influence decision-making and deliver measurable value.
- Embed Agile practices across teams, acting as a leadership coach to elevate performance.
- Navigate global organisational complexities, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across diverse teams.
- Own end-to-end digital projects, aligning them with business strategy while ensuring 24x7 platform support.
- Implement robust governance frameworks and adopt industry-standard tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to maintain quality and strategic alignment.
- Bridge technical and business functions, driving cohesive project execution.
- Oversee IT service management, procurement, and legal contracts while optimising partnerships with external stakeholders.
- Direct onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams, providing executive-level oversight and transparent reporting.

Key Skills & Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in digital product delivery within a global organisation, with a strong focus on Agile methodologies.
- Ability to build, manage and empower high-performing teams, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusion.
- Data-driven mindset, with expertise in interpreting KPIs to inform business strategy.
- Advanced communication skills, including confident engagement with executive and C-suite leaders.
- Proficiency in governance tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Product Plan) and understanding of governance/quality assurance.
- Structured knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL) and best practices for third-party engagements and legal compliance.
- Cultural agility, with experience leading international teams.
- Certifications in:
- **Agile})
- PRINCE2
- ITIL (preferred)
- or related disciplinies.
- Experience managing full Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and thriving in high-pressure, project-driven environments.
