Head of Digital Products (Founding Operator)

Dr. Karan brand | Remote (UK overlap preferred) | Flexible structure: fractional-to-full-time | Significant equity/rev-share

The opportunity

Dr. Karan Rajan is a Doctor, Surgeon, Podcaster and Best-selling Author and one of the largest evidence-based health creators in the world, with over 12M+ followers on across social media.

We are building a suite of digital products under the Dr. Karan brand. The audience, credibility, and organic distribution already exist. What’s missing is the operator. That’s you.

The role

You will own the entire digital products business end to end. Dr Karan is the distribution channel: he promotes through his newsletter, stories, and posts. You run everything else.

This is not a marketing manager role or a course-builder role. It is a founding General Manager role for a business we intend to scale, with equity to match.

You will own:

  • Offer and pricing architecture: packaging the flagship program, designing the value ladder, structuring one-time vs. recurring revenue, upsells, downsells, and order bumps
  • Funnel and flow build: lead magnets, landing pages, email sequences, evergreen and launch funnels, webinars where they make sense
  • Product build and delivery: standing up the course platform and the Circle community, managing production of course assets alongside Karan’s content team
  • Launch management: running open/close launches and challenge cohorts from planning through cart close
  • Growth: scaling from organic-only to Meta ads, affiliates, and partnerships once unit economics are proven
  • Community and retention: making the Circle community a reason people stay, not churn
  • The numbers: revenue, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, churn. You report on them, you own them

Who you are

  • You have personally driven significant growth in digital product revenue for a creator, expert, or personal brand. You can show the receipts: launches you ran, funnels you built, numbers you hit
  • You know the creator economy playbook cold. You understand how companies that operate digital products for celebrities and creators structure, launch, and scale expert-led courses
  • Full-stack funnel fluency: Circle, Kajabi/Teachable/Podia, ConvertKit/Kit or Klaviyo, Stripe, webinar tooling, Meta Ads Manager. You don’t need a team to ship a funnel
  • Operator mindset: you want ownership and upside, not a task list. You can take “here’s the audience, here’s the expert, go” and come back with a P&L
  • You can work with a founder who is scientifically rigorous. Every claim in every sales page will be evidence-checked. If that excites rather than frustrates you, we’ll get along
  • You have an excellent grasp of AI tools and workflows and are able to incorporate this across the business to make processes more efficient

Nice to have:

  • Health, wellness, or nutrition product experience
  • Experience working with physician or credentialed-expert brands where compliance and credibility matter
  • Community-led growth experience (Circle, Skool, or similar)
  • Affiliate program management at scale

Structure and compensation

Flexible by design. We’re open to fractional-to-full-time or full-time from day one. Compensation is built around upside: significant equity and/or revenue share in the digital products business. If you want a market salary and no skin in the game, this isn’t the role. If you want to co-build something with a creator whose distribution is already proven, it is.

We’ll start with a defined 90-day engagement (launching the flagship program funnel) before locking in the long-term structure.
