Head of Early Years Daycare

Location: Leeds

Working Pattern: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours per week)

Salary: GBP51,356 - GBP54,495

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a progressive primary school federation in Leeds to find a dedicated and strategic Head of Early Years Daycare. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced early years leader to step into a pivotal role that balances operational excellence with a genuine passion for early childhood development. Working in close partnership with the Head of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), you will drive the setting's strategic vision, ensure seamless transitions for children, and maintain an environment where every child can thrive. A September start is highly desirable for this position, allowing the successful candidate to lead the setting from the very beginning of the new academic year.

About The Setting

The provision is based within a well-equipped, single or two-storey building located in a welcoming residential community in Leeds. As part of an established federation, the setting benefits from collaborative leadership, shared professional development, and a deeply embedded inclusive ethos. The team works dynamically across the early years phase, and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to work across different sites within the federation to ensure standardisation and shared best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
