Welcome

Dear prospective candidate,

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in this role. As Executive Commercial Director at YPO, I’m excited that you’re exploring opportunities at this pivotal stage in our organisation’s evolution. Having recently joined YPO from the private sector, I’ve experienced firsthand the unique blend we offer—driven by commercial agility and ambition while delivering meaningful public value.

Every day, I’m reminded of the real impact our work has across local government and public services. As a 100% publicly owned organisation, owned by 13 local authorities, our commercial successes are reinvested directly into frontline services. Our combination of scale, agility, and unwavering focus on public and social impact makes YPO special—offering something few other organisations can.

About the Role

As Head of Ecommerce, you will lead the strategy, growth, and delivery of our digital marketplace platforms. Your objective is to create a seamless, accessible, and customer-centric ecommerce experience—one that drives digital adoption, improves operational excellence, and delivers commercial impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
