Head of Ecommerce & Trading

Private & Confidential Search | London (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading fashion retailer on a confidential search for a Head of Ecommerce & Trading to lead digital growth across their established consumer brands.

This is a senior ecommerce leadership role, combining commercial trading, customer experience, optimisation and strategic direction. The successful candidate will help evolve the ecommerce function from a day-to-day trading operation into a more customer-led, data-driven growth engine.

The Role

Reporting into the CDO, you will own ecommerce strategy and performance across the brands, working closely with merchandising, marketing, creative, technology and finance teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering the ecommerce trading strategy
  • Driving growth across revenue, conversion and revenue per visit
  • Improving customer journey, onsite experience and optimisation
  • Building stronger trading processes and ways of working
  • Using data, insight and testing to identify growth opportunities
  • Leading and developing the ecommerce trading team
  • Creating stronger collaboration across commercial functions

About You

We are looking for an experienced ecommerce leader with:

  • Head of Ecommerce / Ecommerce Director level experience
  • Strong fashion, retail or product-led ecommerce background
  • Experience managing significant ecommerce revenue streams
  • Proven ability to improve performance, processes and team capability
  • Strong commercial and customer-first mindset
  • Ability to operate strategically whilst remaining hands-on

Ideal Profile

You will be someone who can come in, diagnose, improve and scale bringing fresh thinking, strong leadership and a modern ecommerce approach.

You will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, be comfortable challenging existing ways of working and have the ability to influence teams across the wider business.

Location: London

Compensation: Circa £120k + Bonus + Benefits
