Head of Editorial, Content and Communications

An early-stage venture capital firm backing ambitious founders building frontier technology businesses across Europe seeks a Head of Editorial, Content and Communications to build audiences and communities around its storytelling and insight sharing from the ground up.

The firm invests across early-stage to growth capital in societally focused software, deep tech, and systemic innovation, working closely with founders building category-defining companies. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who wants to shape how a rapidly growing venture platform defines its narrative—focusing on founders, operators, policymakers, and the wider technology community—primarily through original writing, ideas, and content. The role offers genuine strategic ownership from day one, working closely with founding partners to establish and refine the firm’s voice.

Key Responsibilities

Narrative & Content Strategy

  • Define and codify the firm’s core narrative and thematic pillars, aligned with its investment strategy and long-term ambition
  • Build and oversee a structured editorial calendar spanning essays, reports, newsletters, audio, and video
  • Create and manage owned distribution channels (long-form writing, LinkedIn, short-form video, curated newsletters)
  • Establish the firm as a distinctive editorial voice across European tech and policy themes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
