- Lead and develop the engineering function, overseeing multiple engineering disciplines
- Manage and coach engineering leaders, supporting team growth and capability development
- Drive engineering excellence across system design, software delivery, security, observability, and operational practices
- Partner with technology and business stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and roadmap initiatives
- Provide technical leadership on architecture decisions, scalability, and platform evolution
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture within a fully remote environment
- Improve processes, documentation, incident management, and engineering standards
- Support hiring, succession planning, and long-term organisational development
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong engineering leadership experience within complex technology environments
- Commercial experience working with data-intensive platforms, data engineering, analytics systems, AI, machine learning infrastructure, or similar domains
- Ability to lead across multiple engineering disciplines, including platform, data, and application engineering
- Track record of building and developing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering best practices, and delivery management
- Experience operating in both fast-paced and evolving technology organisations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and driving clarity, ownership, and execution
