Aiming for global expansion (Europe first, followed by the US), this organisation is primed for rapid growth. The next phase demands a senior technology leader with the autonomy to shape both technical infrastructure and the strategic mission of the business.
The Role
You will lead Technology, with a focus on Engineering, Data, and AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technical vision for the businessâs next growth stage
- Shape international expansion strategy, ensuring scalable systems
- Drive an AI-first operating model by:
- Identifying tangible AI opportunities that boost efficiency, quality, and decision-making
- Embedding AI across workflows, tools, and systems for measurable impact
- Translating ambition into reality at an operational level
- Inherit a strong engineering team andŃŃ with autonomy to:
- Raise technical standards, improve structures, and up-skill capabilities
- Work with leadership to align engineering, data, and AI with business priorities
- Focus on execution over theoryâenhance delivery predictability, engineering effectiveness, and technical excellence
- Ensure AI is integrated beyond engineering, improving key commercial processes
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership to prioritise high-impact initiatives

Requirements & Expectations
Youâre likely to bring:
- Vast experience in leading engineering teams under pressure, driving pace, accountability, and commercial outcomes
- Technical depth to mentor teams, challenge decisions, and make sound platform/system choices
- AI acumen: Understanding the current landscape, spotting real opportunities, and filtering hype
- A track record of execution, not just developing strategy or presentations; experience making strategic change through action
- Ability to operate as both a leader and hands-on problem-solver
- Experience integrating AI, engineering, and data around high-value business functions
- Strong cross-functional influence, including leadership-level partnerships
- Commercial pragmatismâbalancing ambition with achievable outcomes

Location & Package
- Hybrid work (Central London)
- Base Salary: ÂŁ130,000 - ÂŁ150,000
- Bonus: Up to 20%
- Equity: Highly attractive package
