As the market evolves and new competitive dynamics emerge, LEVL is now entering an exciting new phase - building an AI-first platform to transform both customer outcomes and internal operations. The Role: Head of Engineering This is a high-impact, hands-on builder role responsible for designing, building, and scaling LEVL’s AI-first product and internal AI capabilities. You will own the development of an AI-powered Co-Pilot for fleet customers, while also embedding AI across the business - from support and operations through to sales and marketing. This is not a strategy-only role. You will be expected to build, ship, and iterate quickly, working directly with the CEO and playing a critical role in shaping the future of the business. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end development of LEVL’s AI Co-Pilot product, from MVP to scalable, production-ready solution Design and implement scalable, secure, multi-tenant architecture Build and integrate AI-driven workflows across the business Work hands-on with AI tools such as OpenAI and Anthropic/Claude Integrate multiple data sources into a unified platform Collaborate directly with the CEO on product direction Rapidly prototype and iterate with a focus on commercial outcomes Support and mentor internal team members Contribute to building a future engineering team What We’re Looking For Must Have Experience building and shipping AI-powered products Hands-on experience with LLMs Ability to move quickly from concept to MVP Experience integrating AI into business workflows Strong ownership mindset Commercial awareness Nice to Have Experience with Intercom, HubSpot or similar tools SaaS, data, IoT or telematics experience Startup or scale-up experience Experience building scalable systems Why Join LEVL Build an AI-first product from the ground up Work directly with the CEO Own product and AI transformation Access to real-world datasets High autonomy and fast execution environment Opportunity to build a team Location Coventry-based (hybrid) Compensation Competitive salary with performance-based bonus Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Equal Employment Opportunity at Banyan: Banyan affirms that inequality is detrimental to our Global Teams, associates, our Operating Companies, and the communities we serve.
