🚀 Head of Engineering | £120,000 | Hybrid (2 Days Office / 3 Remote)
📍 Hybrid | 2 days per week in the office
💰 Salary: £120,000 + Benefits
We're partnering with an ambitious, high-growth SaaS business that's investing heavily in AI and product innovation.
As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Head of Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams, shape technical strategy and build a world-class engineering organisation capable of delivering AI-powered products at pace.
This is a leadership role where you'll influence both technology and business strategy, working closely with Product and senior leadership to drive delivery, quality, and engineering excellence.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and developing high-performing engineering teams.
- Defining technical strategy and architectural direction.
- Driving predictable, high-quality software delivery.
- Embedding AI-assisted engineering practices across the SDLC.
- Partnering with Product to prioritise roadmaps and balance commercial outcomes with engineering capacity.
- Building an engineering culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

We're looking for someone with
- A strong software engineering background within SaaS.
- Experience leading Engineering Managers or Technical Leads.
- A proven track record of scaling engineering teams in a growing technology business.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery and modern engineering practices.
- Experience influencing architecture, delivery strategy, and technical direction.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Passion for AI-enabled software development and modern engineering tooling.
