This is a pivotal role to lead the technical delivery of AI, automation, and digital innovation across the firm. Responsibilities include designing, prototyping, building, and deploying solutions such as copilots, document intelligence tools, workflow automation, and knowledge systems. In addition, you will shape the broader technology direction by introducing scalable cloud platforms, data pipelines, and automation frameworks that support business growth.

Our client is an established multidisciplinary professional services firm, specialising in leveraging modern technology to deliver measurable business impact. The firm is investing significantly in AI and automation as a strategic priority and operates in an execution-focused, high-trust environment. Successful candidates will have direct access to Partners and senior leadership across the organisation.

Successful Candidate
You must be an engineering leader with proven experience delivering AI, automation, or digital transformation solutions, particularly in a professional services context. Key qualities include:
- Technical excellence: Strong hands-on engineering ability, comfortable with building and shipping solutions yourself, not just supervising others.
- Proficient in cloud platforms, AI tools, APIs, and automation frameworks—with a product mindset focused on usability and measurable outcomes.
- Clear communication: Ability to translate technical work into business value for non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced, delivery-focused setting.
- Outcome-driven: Pragmatic and curious about emerging technologies, with a builder-leader mentality—high energy, low ego, high impact.
