This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious leader to join Neath Port Talbot Council as our Head of Engineering and Transport.
Leading a diverse portfolio of highways, engineering and transport services, you will play a key role in delivering the infrastructure that supports our communities, economic growth and environmental ambitions. As a member of our Corporate Leadership Network, you will influence strategic decision making, drive transformation and help shape the future of the county borough.
This is an opportunity for someone who can inspire others, build strong partnerships and shape the future of transport, infrastructure and engineering services across Neath Port Talbot. We are looking for someone who leads with confidence, compassion and integrity, and who is passionate about delivering excellent outcomes for residents and communities.

- Provide inspiring strategic leadership across highways, engineering and transport services
- Deliver high-performing, customer-focused and value-for-money services
- Lead innovation and service improvement
- Build strong partnerships with Members, Welsh Government, contractors and regional stakeholders
- Inspire and develop talented teams while fostering a positive, inclusive culture
- Lead confidently through change, complexity and major incidents
