Head of Enterprise Architecture – Circa £160,000 – London (Hybrid)
Overview:
An amazing opportunity has arisen with a global organisation at the forefront of advancing health and scientific discovery who are seeking an experienced Head of Enterprise Architecture to establish and lead a brand-new Enterprise Architecture function.
This senior leadership role will focus on driving technology and data simplification across a complex global estate. You’ll define enterprise-wide architecture strategy, governance, and roadmaps while leading innovation across Data, AI, Machine Learning, and core business platforms including Salesforce, Oracle, and Workday.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and build an enterprise architecture blueprint, and associated simplification roadmap
- Establish robust architectural governance to ensure best practice and compliance
- Drive the simplification agenda across the estate, for both technology and data
- Ensure foundations are strong, and that the control environment is fit for purpose
- Provide leadership and direction in technology trends, explore and integrate emerging technologies to drive innovation and best practice
- Drive the end-to-end process of creating efficient workflows to enable business process simplification across all applications (including Salesforce, Oracle and Workday)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and stakeholders to translate business strategies into effective roadmaps
- Increase the benefit realisation of integration to increase data quality, automation reporting and process efficiency
- Ensure team operates within the agreed budget and headcount, having contributed to their development.

Technical Requirements:
- Experience of implementing strategies, programmes and operating plans.
- Experience of managing budgets, headcount, and leading positive, high performing teams and inclusive working cultures.
- Experience developing an Enterprise blueprint plan from the ground up
- Technically strong, across all technical disciplines including Data, Machine Learning and AI
- Experience of setting up an architecture function from the ground up is preferred
- Experience in working with 3rd parties to deliver outcomes
- Experience of implementing TOGAF or equivalent standard

- Circa £160,000 Base Salary
- 15% Pension (10% Cash)
