Are you ready to lead one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure programmes?

This is more than a job. It's an opportunity to shape the future of water, environmental sustainability and infrastructure delivery across the North West.

We're looking for a Head of Programme Delivery to lead the successful delivery of a major investment portfolio worth approximately £100m per year, playing a key role in United Utilities' Big North West Upgrade. You'll join our Enterprise – a pioneering partnership of eight industry-leading organisations working together as one integrated team delivering over £2.5bn of enhancements in AMP8.

As a senior leader, you'll drive programme performance, influence strategic decisions, develop high-performing teams and build strong partnerships across a complex delivery environment. You'll also play a vital role in nurturing future leaders and championing innovation, continuous improvement and excellence in delivery.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience leading complex capital investment programme
  • Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • A track record of delivering major projects through the full lifecycle
  • Professional accreditation (CEng, MAPM, MICE, MCIWEM, RPP or equivalent)
  • The vision and resilience to lead in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
