The Opportunity
Shape the Future of One of Wales' Largest Further Education Estates
Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be partnering with Coleg y Cymoedd to recruit a Head of Estates. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Wales' leading further education colleges and lead a diverse multi-campus estate.
Reporting to the Vice Principal: Corporate Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across four campuses, ensuring a safe, compliant and sustainable environment for learners, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the estates and facilities function across four campuses.
- Develop and deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes.
- Oversee reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
- Manage health & safety, security, CCTV and access control.
- Lead contractor, consultant and supplier relationships.
- Develop asset management and lifecycle replacement plans.
- Improve estate reporting, CAFM systems and data management.
- Manage budgets and support procurement activity.
- Lead, develop and motivate the estates team.
- Support sustainability and environmental initiatives.
The Person
You will bring:
- Multi-site estates management experience.
- Strong PPM and reactive maintenance knowledge.
- Asset management and lifecycle planning expertise.
- Budget, contract and supplier management experience.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.
- CAFM system experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- A track record of driving change and continuous improvement.
