Role Overview

At dōTERRA Europe Services we encourage all employees to seek out opportunities that will expand their skill set. We strive to help achieve personal career goals by providing opportunities for growth and movement throughout the company.

This position will serve as doTERRA’s primary representative to EU institutions, Member State authorities, and trade associations, ensuring the company proactively engages in and helps shape the evolving European regulatory environment for direct selling, essential oils, cosmetics, and nutritional supplements.

The role requires a highly motivated professional who combines strategic insight, political acumen, and strong interpersonal skills to advance doTERRA’s interests and strengthen its reputation among policymakers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advocacy and engagement with EU institutions, including the European Commission, European Parliament, Council, regulatory agencies, and key Member States.
  • Shape and implement doTERRA’s EU Government Affairs strategy, ensuring the company’s priorities are effectively communicated and advanced.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret policy developments affecting essential oils, natural products, and supplements, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Coordinate across internal functions — Global Government Relations, Regulatory, and Legal — to ensure aligned advocacy and compliance strategies.
  • Represent doTERRA within key trade associations to ensure consistent and influential industry participation.
  • Manage doTERRA’s relationship with its EU public affairs agency, setting priorities, evaluating outcomes, and aligning activities with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Prepare high-quality policy briefs and strategic updates for senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making and external positioning.
  • Regular travel to Brussels and Strasbourg, expected to range between 30% to 40%.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
