Head of Events – Everyman Driving Experiences

The Opportunity

Ready to lead from the front in one of the UK’s most exciting live event environments?

Everyman Driving Experiences is looking for a seasoned Head of Events to take full ownership of our high-performance driving events operation across Southern UK locations.

This is a senior leadership role with real impact — overseeing the delivery of more than 250 adrenaline-fuelled events each year across 24 venues.

  • Based at our flagship Dunsfold facility (The Top Gear Track)
  • Requires occasional travel to other UK locations to maintain excellence

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and leading a high-performing team
  • Ensuring operational excellence and commercial success
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the vision and delivery of all events across Southern locations, ensuring safety, professionalism, and commercial success
  • Lead large-scale operations, managing logistics, planning, and on-site execution
  • Oversee a freelance workforce of up to 500 staff, while developing and mentoring in-house roles including:
    • Event Managers
    • Staff coordinators
    • Logistics support
  • Champion team culture, driving engagement, performance, and retention
  • Ensure best-in-class safety and quality standards across every event
  • Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO/Chairman
  • Provide strategic insights to improve performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in events management, including 2+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale events simultaneously across different locations
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and financial accountability
  • A calm, resilient leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Passion for building teams, developing people, and improving processes
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Interest in automotive or high-performance vehicles (highly desirable)
