Overview

The Head of Events & Brand Activations is a full-time hybrid role based in Leeds, with flexibility for some work from home. This role leads the strategy, planning, and execution of events and brand activations that showcase The Allies’ creative network and strengthen client relationships.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Developing event concepts
  • Managing end-to-end event logistics
  • Coordinating with internal teams and freelancers
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all activations
  • Overseeing budgets and timelines
  • Negotiating with suppliers and venues
  • Tracking event performance against commercial and brand objectives
  • Identifying new opportunities for experiential marketing
  • Supporting sales initiatives through event-led campaigns
  • Representing the brand at industry gatherings

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, brand, luxury, fashion, entertainment, music, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Build relationships with brands, agencies, marketing teams, sponsors, venues, and decision-makers.
  • Generate revenue through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and upselling services to existing clients.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, pitches, and event concepts to win new business.
  • Represent the company at networking events, industry conferences, launches, and trade events.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand client objectives and translate them into innovative event solutions.
  • Develop long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Create innovative event concepts that deliver measurable results for clients.
  • Collaborate with Allies freelancers, creative designers, production partners, and creative suppliers to bring concepts to life.
  • Source and negotiate keynote speakers, artists, performers, influencers, hosts, and celebrity talent.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Essential
    • 5+ years' experience in event management, experiential marketing, brand activations, or agency environments.
    • Proven track record of winning new business and growing client accounts.
    • Strong network of industry contacts including brands, venues, suppliers, production partners, and talent representatives.
    • Experience delivering small to large-scale events from concept to execution.
    • Excellent pitching, presentation, and proposal-writing skills.
    • Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
    • Experience managing sponsorships and commercial partnerships.
