Head of Faculty Sixth
Are you an ambitious and inspiring leader ready to shape the future of curriculum delivery and learner success?
We're looking for a Head of Faculty to join New College Swindon Sixth Faculty in a key leadership role focused on driving high-quality teaching, learner achievement, and curriculum development across the Faculty.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced education leader who is passionate about developing people, improving outcomes, and creating a culture of ambition, accountability, and excellence.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage the strategic and operational delivery of the Sixth Faculty
- Drive high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across all provision types
- Lead and support curriculum teams to improve learner progress, achievement, and destinations
- Develop an ambitious and responsive curriculum aligned to local and national needs
- Monitor quality, performance, and KPI delivery, driving continuous improvement
- Lead staffing, performance management, and professional development within the Faculty
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to support sustainability and growth
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and learner-focused culture across the Faculty

What we're looking for:
- Significant experience within further education or a related educational setting
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Experience driving quality improvement and positive learner outcomes
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and performance management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead high-performing teams
- Commitment to delivering an outstanding learner experience
- A role model of the College's CARES values
