Head of Family Law Solicitor
Romford | Hybrid Working
A well-established and growing law firm in Romford is looking to appoint a Head of Family Law to lead its family department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Family Solicitor who is ready to take the next step in their career. Whether you're already heading up a team or you're an experienced solicitor looking for your first departmental leadership role, the firm is keen to speak with ambitious individuals who can help drive the department forward.
The firm is in an exciting period of growth and investment, making this a great time to join. You'll have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the department, working closely with senior management while maintaining your own varied caseload.

The Role
- Managing a caseload of private and legal aid family matters including divorce, finances and children work
- Leading and developing the Family Law team
- Supervising and supporting junior fee earners
- Assisting with business development and networking activities
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the department
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in Family Law
- Comfortable handling a broad range of privately funded and legal aid family matters
- Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Looking to take ownership of a department and progress your career
