Salary from £53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a maternity cover, fixed term for one year
The Communications Division strategically coordinates internal and external communications and advises the School on the best ways to reach and inspire our audiences. The Communications teams work together to increase the impact of LSE and its work on the outside world.
The Head of Film and Audio works within the Brand team and will have significant experience as a digital and multi-media producer. You will be passionate about the role films and podcasts can have in showcasing the social sciences and to engage our audiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Film and Audio team, launching the new LSE brand identity across film and audio content, providing direction, account management and quality assurance. You will also be required to do some digital media production work (podcasts and short films) and some online content publishing and curation working with teams across the Communications Division.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of digital media production, a comprehensive understanding of managing online digital distribution and social media platforms and line management experience. You will be a self-starter who has the ability to lead cross-team projects which raise the profile of LSE’s leading research and education through effective public engagement.
