Role Description

The Head of Finance is a full-time, hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees all financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements
  • Managing cash flow
  • Monitoring key performance indicators
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Developing and maintaining financial controls
  • Leading forecasting processes
  • Partnering with leadership to optimize resource allocation and support growth initiatives
  • Managing relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
  • Guiding and mentoring finance team members

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Finance, including experience overseeing financial operations and supporting strategic business decisions.
  • Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to prepare, interpret, and present accurate financial information.
  • Expertise in Budgeting and financial planning, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide clear recommendations.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience in senior finance roles.
  • Experience in a growth-oriented or health, nutrition, or consumer-focused business environment is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence senior stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
  • Experience working with subscription first DTC brands on Shopify and XERO
