About us

i6 provides the world’s most advanced end-to-end Aviation fuel management technology - enabling operational efficiency, transparency, and sustainability for airlines, fuel service providers, and suppliers.

Our cloud-based solutions digitise the entire aviation fuel lifecycle through real-time fuel inventory and into-plane management platforms, patented electronic refuelling technology, and advanced fuel analytics and insights.

With the adoption of our technology, our customers have been able to reduce thousands of tonnes of CO2 and benefited from millions in cost savings.

Role

At i6, we are primarily remote; however, for this role, we require you to be able to come into our London office once a week.

Your new role

As the Head of Finance at i6, you will run the finance function day-to-day, owning financial control, reporting, and the month-end close, and supporting the modernisation of the group's finance systems, processes, and controls. You will report to the CFO, turning financial strategy into disciplined delivery, building a well-controlled and resilient function that scales with the business, and play a central role in preparing i6 for a successful exit. This is a hands-on senior role for someone who is equally comfortable owning the detail and building the team and systems around them.

What you will do

Financial Control, Reporting & Planning

  • Own the month-end close, delivering accurate, well-reviewed accounts on a reliable timetable.
  • Own the group consolidation across multiple entities, including intercompany elimination.
  • Own the calculation and reporting of ARR, moving it from a manual exercise to an automated, reconciled output.
  • Support board-level reporting packs, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and tracking categories in Xero, with costs booked to the right entity.
  • Support revenue recognition across licence, transaction, professional services, and hardware.
  • Support delivery of the annual budget and rolling forecast, measuring budget-vs-actuals, and maintain rolling cash-flow forecasting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Embed clear segregation of duties and review steps across payroll, month-end, and payments.
  • Partner with Procurement on the roll-out and running of the PO system, and drive cost discipline so spend is justified and delivers value.

Statutory, Tax, Treasury & Compliance

  • Support corporation tax, VAT, and payroll compliance across all entities, coordinating outsourced partners.
  • Manage day-to-day cash, banking, and liquidity, and the group's currency exposure.
