Head of Finance | Leicester | £70,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance + Significant Performance Bonus

If you're ambitious and you want to move fast, this is worth a read.

We're working on a confidential Head of Finance search for a well-known, listed business based in Leicester — a business with genuine scale, strong brand recognition, and a real track record of developing its people. This is a place where ambitious finance professionals genuinely move upward. Quickly. We're talking 12 to 18 months in most cases.

Day to day, you'll own the full month-end close, lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle, and produce the management accounts and reporting that senior leadership rely on to make decisions. You'll also be the commercial partner that bridges the gap between finance and the business — analysing performance, evaluating investment decisions, and making sure the numbers are telling the right story.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
